In the past, searching the Internet for information on aging in place would lead you to the same information over and over. What’s available today is a little more useful, depending on the site, of course. Many service organizations on beginning to focus their efforts online to provide useful information to their constituents and several niche sites have sprung up that deal with health care, aging parents and other topics. These sites are generally geared towards consumers and though some the information is good, it is not always easy for a professional to get answers to real-world problems to help their clients.
Here at AgeInPlacePros.com, we’re going to focus on real-world aging in place issues from a professional‘s point of view.
To do that, we’ll be enlisting people just like you who are ‘in the trenches’ to work alongside us to provide relevant and focused information that you can use to help your clients and build your business. We’ll be looking for people from all walks of life, from a variety of different disciplines who have experience providing services to those who are, or who will be, aging in place. Some of the ideas we’re considering are article submissions, regular columns, Q&A sessions and others where you can provide positive impact on the businesses of your peers by helping them serve their customers better.
If that sounds appealing to you, then by all means let us know! We’ll put you on our contact list and send out more information soon. If you have ideas about what you’d like to see on the site, whether content, tools or other, let us know that too!
Stay tuned!
