As an aging in place provider, getting the right exposure for your business can be difficult sometimes. We’d like to help you with that.

For those that know much about us, you know one of our primary drivers is promoting local, senior-focused businesses. We’re always looking for ways to help you get more exposure and grow your business.

Introducing: AgeInPlace.com’s new Aging in Place Remodeling & Home Ideas section

We’re putting the final touches on a brand new section for our sister site at http://www.ageinplace.com. Essentially, we’re building a new section that highlights home remodeling and home life ideas for aging in place. This new section will be broken down by room (or area, as appropriate). Each room will have a list of ideas for remodeling, technology, home life or other changes which could benefit someone aging in place.

Opportunity #1

Part of what we would like to do for this section is highlight the work of professionals like yourself who provide solutions for aging in place. A few of the qualifying submissions will be chosen (solely at our editorial discretion) to be placed in-line with the main content of the new section with links to your bio/business information.

All submissions that meet the requirements below will be placed in a new gallery of aging in place home solutions with links to your bio/business information.

Deadline for submission: Ongoing

Note: For your submission to qualify for consideration, it must meet all of the following criteria:

• The project must be one that you worked on in a major capacity, such as designing, building or installing.
• All or part of the project must have been implemented to assist someone aging in place.
• The photos or video must represent the aging in place aspects of the project.
• The photos or video must be high quality.
• The submission must include all of the information outlined below.

How to participate

If you would like to have your work considered for inclusion in this new section, please follow the steps below.

Step 1. Select 1 or 2 of your best (or most interesting, creative or innovative) aging in place projects and submit up to 2 high quality, high resolution photos. (Please, no more than 2 photos of each project.)

Step 2. Alternatively, you can submit a video for consideration. It too must be of good quality and be uploaded to YouTube. If you choose this method, please include the link to the video on YouTube.

Step 3. Write a brief description of each photo (or video), detailing the solution. Please include information such as how it impacted the client, what was interesting, creative or innovative about it, etc.

Step 4. Compile a short bio for yourself, a short description of your business, a personal photo, your contact information (including full business address) and links to your website and social network profiles (Twitter, Facebook, etc.).

Step 5. Email all of that information to editor@ageinplace.com with the subject Home Remodeling & Aging in Place Ideas.

We will only be accepting submissions for a limited time to be considered for the new Aging in Place Remodeling & Home Ideas section. Once the section is complete, we will announce it in our newsletters, on our websites and across our social networks.
