Viki Kind, Bioethicist & Owner KindEthics.comViki Kind is a clinical bioethicist, medical educator and hospice volunteer.  Her book, “The Caregiver’s Path to Compassionate Decision Making:  Making Choices For Those Who Can’t,” guides families and healthcare professionals through the difficult process of making decisions for those who are losing or have lost the ability to think. She has lectured across the United States teaching healthcare professionals to have integrity, compassion and to improve end-of-life care through better communication.   Patients, families and healthcare professionals rely on Viki’s practical approach to dealing with challenging healthcare dilemmas. Kind has a master’s degree in Bioethics from the Medical College of Wisconsin. Her BA is in Speech Communication from California State University at Northridge. She also has specialized training in mediation and cultural negotiation from Pepperdine University and UCLA. Kind donates her time by being a hospice volunteer with Hospice of the Conejo in Thousand Oaks, CA.
